This hiking stick has been
handcrafted from sassafras. It has been carefully sanded to give it a
lovely reddish-brown, brown, tan & cream mottled surface. Several
coats of lacquer have been applied to give the stick a great shine and
protection from the elements. The stick is approx. 59" tall,
with a top diameter of approx. 1 1/4", tapering to approx.
7/8" at the bottom. It comes with a genuine leather thong, a
heavy-duty rubber tip, and a handcrafted emergency locator
whistle. The stick has been
permanently etched with a delightful fairy perched on a mushroom. A
wonderful treat for believers in fairies, or the mushroom hunter who
could use a bit of magical assistance
