 This
very special hiking stick has been handcrafted from walnut. It has been
carefully sanded to give it a beautiful dark brown, medium brown and tan
surface. Several coats of lacquer have been applied to all our sticks
giving them a great shine and protection from the elements. The stick is
approx. 58" tall, with a top diameter of approx. 1 3/8",
tapering to approx. 7/8" at the bottom. It comes with a genuine
leather thong, a heavy-duty rubber tip, and a handcrafted emergency
locator whistle. This stick has been permanently etched with a portrait
of a wolf. Tucked into a natural bend in the stick, and shaded by the
natural light/dark shading of the walnut, this elusive predator of the
forest is perfectly suited to this unique stick. On the opposite side of
the stick from the wolf portrait, a wolf paw print has been added.
